Artist Spotlight: BUGGS THA ROCKA

This artist has been putting it down in the Midwest real hard as of late. Had to give him his shine!

In an era when commercial rap is king and hip hop has shed away from true lyricists, Cincinnati native, Speed “Buggs tha Rocka” Walton III, brings an animated flow an sound that is so refreshing to hip-hop heads when real music has become so foreign to true music lovers. In an extremely short period of time, this "Rocka Boy" has managed to collaborate and open up shows for the likes of Method Man, Red Man, Freeway, Tanya Morgan, and Little Brother. He's also become a sound that has grown tremendously from the headphones of friends to the local Cincinnati radio station, Wiz 101.1. In late 2008, Buggs took his career to a new level when he released the track “Get Away” featuring Little Brother which gets consistent plays in both Cincinnati and London; proving his eclectic sound of consciousness and reality is a voice that the people want to hear.
