Casio G-SHOCK July 2009 Releases

The July 2009 releases in the Casio G-Shock collection are a tad more colorful for G-Shock watches, since the more vibrant stylings have usually been restricted to collaborations. G-Shock’s comes with the usual round-dial DW-6900 & square-shaped DW-5600, but also releases a new addition to the family in the more contemporary styled G-8100. These July releases will be available at select Casio G-Shock retailers. The G-8100 is above… the DW-5600 and DW-6900 are below.

IT'S OFFICIAL! Air Jordan VI (6) Re-Retro Blk/Red... JANUARY 2010

THEY'RE FINALLY BACK!!! Jordan Brand will be bringing back one of the most popular Air Jordan's of ALL-TIME with a retro release of the famous "Infrared VI". These bad boys are looking pretty! BUT, as always with JB... there are some catches to the release. Physical differences will take place in 3 areas of the sneaker. The original nubuck upper will be replaced with Suede. The Infrared accents will be replaced by Varsity Red (slightly duller). And finally, the Clear Air Bubble will be made Black. You can view all of these differences in the photos, but honestly it's not worth fussing over... the changes are suttle and almost non-existent. These joints have not been out since Fall 2000... so just grab em up if you are blessed with the chance! Right now, these are scheduled for a January 2010 release. We'll keep you posted with more pics as they become available. Oh yeah, and... COPPED TWICE.

WHO'S BAD?... Not Billy Jean!

I know it's like 2 days after MJ's death, but I'm sure I'm not the only one still watching all of his classic vids on TV or Youtube. This vid is of Michael's MOTOWN25 performance from the 1980's. Dude was truely a beast... I remember all these joints from childhood but it's different looking at things when you're grown... you're able to respect his grind & talent even more. I promise you'll sit through the entire vid just like I did! When I was a kid, I couldn't wait until he did his patented "Moonwalk" during his performances... and it's exactly the same today. Wait for the 3:30 mark... MIKE GOES OFF!!!

Air Jordan VII (7) Bulls v Magic 60+ Pack

Presenting the Official Pics of the Air Jordan 7 60+ is the package coming this August. As you can see, the Bulls 7's are exactly like the sample version, but the Orlando 7's are tamed down a whole lot from their sample counterpart. The only part of the shoe that says 90's Orlando Magic is the tongue... I really think JB screwed up on this one. The black pinstriped upper panels of the sample version smelled like an instant classic! But it seems these days... they're just putting out more of the same and keeping things bland. I, however don't have any complaints on the Bulls 7's in the pack... as you can see, they're incredibly fresh! An official date has not been set yet, but we’ll keep you posted.

SHAQ Traded to the Cleveland CAVS!!!

In a blockbuster trade the Phoenix Suns agree to send Shaquille O'Neal to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Sasha Pavlovic & Ben Wallace. Alot of people think this makes Cleveland an instant lock for the 2010 NBA Finals, but they still look to need a perimeter piece... someone like Matt Barnes(who is an available free agent). The Cavs are really trying to do what they can to keep Lebron in town after 2010 when his contract is up... who know's, this might work! The city of Cleveland is an uproar tonight.
