This is a new group I just got introduced to from Detroit... EIGHT-0-EIGHT'z. They got a unique style that definitely brings the 808's and the Boom Bap's into play. Their music has an old-school feel but the lyricism is definitely there and it's very 2009... almost Futuristic & Retro Fusion if that makes any sense. You be the judge!
